LEARN TO SAIL (12 Hours)

Our Learn-to-Sail course is based on the US Sailing Small Boat Course Curriculum. You will be given the knowledge to comfortably and independently sail by the end of this course. The course is three 4-hour sessions. Class must be paid in full in advance. Call for reservations.

Youth Summer Sailing Camps

SUMMER SAILING CAMP Ages 8 - 12

July 7 - 11 * July 21 - 25 * August 4 - 8
8AM - 2PM

LEARN TO SAIL: Ideal for children who have never sailed before. Safe and fun, this class is the ideal introductory on-the-water experience, providing a platform for kids to learn basic sailing skills that will last a lifetime.

INTERMEDIATE: Sailors build on the fundamental skills learned in Learn to Sail. Students will gain confidence and increase independence with their sailing skills, boat handling, and beginning racing skills will be introduced.

SUMMER SAILING CAMP Ages 13 - 18
July 14 -1 8 * July 28 - August 1 * August 11 - 15
8AM - 2PM

TEEN SAILING: Learn to sail in a fun safe environment with your friends. This class is an ideal on-the-water experience, providing a platform for teens to learn basic and intermediate sailing skills that will last a lifetime. Students will gain confidence and increase independence with their sailing skills, boat handling, and beginning racing skills will be introduced.


ADVANCED: Students will concentrate on sailing strategy, tactics, teamwork, and tuning, preparation for racing. Students will be encouraged to participate in local racing events.

TEEN RACING: Students will be encouraged to participate in local racing events, regional, and international regattas. Racing sailors will review advanced topics such as goal setting, regatta preparations, tactics, tuning, fitness, rules, boat handling, boat care, sailing strategy, tactics, teamwork, and tuning. The course is focused on getting sailors and their equipment into peak racing condition for upcoming events.

Rincon Sailor wins International Rolex Regatta














The 2008 International Rolex Regatta was hosted the St. Thomas Yacht Club March 28 - 30th, 2008. Rincon sailor Greg Fink crewed on Juan Moline's J/24 Medalla Light (PUR 32). Winning the 12-boat non-spinnaker class with 2, 2, 2, 3, finishes for a total of 9 points.

Congratulations Team Medalla Light.
